I can not say enough phenomenal things about Chesterfield Dance Center. I began dancing with them when they opened 27 years ago. Now, my daughter attends and it is so amazing to watch her grow a passion for dance with the colleagues and friends I grew up with (now teachers and the owner). If you have the opportunity for your child to attend here, or are looking for a fresh start away from your current studio - THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE HANDS DOWN ☺️. Their professionalism, love for the art, and way they teach every student, parent, etc. are unmatched. The awards speak volumes, but the true feeling of family is even more prevalent.

have such a special connection to CDC — Carrie actually taught me dance here when I was a teenager, and now my daughter has followed in my footsteps! She started in the fall of 2024 at 8 years old, taking jazz and hip hop, and she has absolutely loved every minute of it. The staff is wonderful — welcoming, encouraging, and truly caring. My daughter feels safe, supported, and excited to come to class each week. It’s been such a joy watching her confidence grow as she learns new skills and finds her own love for dance. CDC is a dance studio that truly inspires. I cannot say enough wonderful things about CDC! From the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed into a positive and passionate community that feels like family. The instructors are not only incredibly talented and experienced, but they also bring so much heart to every class. They nurture dancers of all ages and skill levels, encouraging growth, confidence, and creativity in every step. Hands down, the best dance school! Aside from the skill level of the teachers (and I don't mean teachers who have taken classes with famous people or at conventions or happen to have a degree in dance).I mean teachers who continually travel to enhance their teaching skills and technique by learning), this school continues to raise the bar (or barre) each year, overcoming obstacles that have been difficult, devastating and shocking in some cases. Their resilience has only made them stronger, more compassionate and determined to ensure that each and every student is given the next opportunity that presents itself. A great dancer does not necessarily mean a great teacher. And a great dance teacher does not guarantee that teaching is on the horizon. Lucky for my children (who are now grown and spent their childhoods at CDC) and my granddaughter, who is a current student there, they were/are able to receive the best of all worlds in dance. Great teachers, great talents, compassion, friendship, opportunity to grow and be seen, and a wonderful, family oriented place to call their dance home.

Highly recommend CDC! Our daughter started here nearly a year ago after a friend recommended this studio and she loves it. The faculty pours their heart into what they do and it truly shows. The owner Ms. Carrie gave us a tour initially and we felt so welcomed and loved the environment. Ms. Carrie, Ms. Cat, Ms. Sheila, and Ms. Sonia have been her instructors this past year and she has learned so much. They are all amazing! The schedules and communication has been wonderful too.
