Challenger Sports
Private
National soccer camp provider, British in origin and operating in North America since 1985, whose Naperville address is its corporate office rather than a camp site. Its week-long Foundational Skills camps are led by British, Brazilian and other international coaches and are hosted by local clubs and park districts across the country: a short preschool session for ages 3-5 and skill-development sessions for ages 6-16, built on British training methodology with a cultural exchange element. Families find a nearby session through the company's camp finder rather than at this address.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Challenger Sports directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleThis company is a scam. Signed up 4/7, for $195 plus a $4.88 processing fee, for the week of June 9-13. On June 5, I was texted to say the camp had been moved from July 21 to 28. I was very confused as I did not sign up for July, so I asked them to confirm about the June 9-13 camp. They said there was a "miscommunication" and those dates were wrong. Stuck last minute with no childcare and no alternative camps being offered, I was forced to take a week off of work. I called our rec center, who advertised and hosted this camp, and they said they had been told the camp was cancelled. I was offered a spot at the next closest camp - 48 miles away!! Or a week later in the summer, but I've already paid for other camps during those weeks. I demanded a refund plus the cost of last minute childcare. They asked me to send them my order confirmation, implying they would be refunding me my requested amount. So I asked them to confirm the total, which they wouldn't. The next morning I received a refund for $195. I effectively paid $4.88 for the privilege of providing them an interest free loan for 2 months. Once I pointed this out, they refunded the additional $4.88. This seems to be their model.... Advertise a ton of camps over various weeks and locations, then at the last minute, cancel the camps they don't feel are profitable enough. What a scam! Clearly, this is purely about money, not about children or skills.
My kids attended Challenger summer camps this year and enjoyed the experience immensely. Their skills improved and confidence increased. I couldn’t be happier with the summer programs Challenger provided.
The tetrabrazil summer camp in Michigan was a huge disappointment. My son has played travel for five years. The camp was advertised for " advanced players". Most of the kids there were beginner players. The coaches only worked on basic techniques. My son only went for two days of the five. Corporate did reimburse us our money, for which we thank them! If only they can screen the players in an more effective way so that all the kids are on the same level.
