Powered by GoogleUpdate today: hot tub is working but water level is only up to your waist when you're sitting in it. A guy in the sauna refused a request to turn down his phone while he was watching YouTube videos. And there was no hot water in the showers. Most lockers are broken or unopenable (all combination codes have been lost),treadmill and elliptical machines are frequently down, hand dryers are broken. My locker was broken into. My towel was stolen from the deck when I was in the pool. Hot tub has been out of commission for over a month. Shower water pressure is negligible and not working at all on several occasions. The indoor pool is frequently closed for maintenance. The outdoor pool was out of commission for two weeks then another week for resurfacing the pool deck. The wrong surfacing material was used so that has to be redone. The app is even wonkier than the layout, a situation others have mentioned. I just entered "hot tub" in the search feature and the only result was for some other Y. "Nobody else has complained" is the staff mantra. Photos here are of chronic conditions. They were taken today.
0 Water pressure in any of the mens showers. I get it if it was the price of 24/7 fitness, sure i'd give them a good rating, but for what they charge (almost 100 a month) then need to improve.
The energy is so cool to where it is impossible not to find a work out spot at the Y, I also love to see the youth without so many tattoos on their skin I see normal kids that are having fun through,Basketball & weights, what a blessing how the Y is having the young kids smiling & happy along with their parents. I am a parent myself to see other parents caring for their children that fire to me in God's name on hand parenting .I get all my work out in each time, I go to the Y as well from the positive energy. Please keep up this energy from the adults to the kids.God Bless
I had a truly great experience at the YMCA from start to finish. The check-in process at the front desk was quick and seamless, and I was helped by Erikka, who was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. She assisted me with the online application and paperwork efficiently and also offered to give me a tour. What really stood out was how attentive and respectful she was with my time. The tour felt relaxed, informal, and very genuine—she took her time showing me the different areas and equipment without ever making me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing her. She was polite, warm, and made the entire experience feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend Erikka to anyone looking to join. I also want to specifically mention that the YMCA and staff were completely welcoming and accommodating of my service dog, Mamita. She was welcomed without any issues or hesitation, which made the experience even more positive and stress-free. During my workout, I was helped by Sean, who specializes in lower-back support. He was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and completely pressure-free. He took the time to ask questions specific to what I’m dealing with, showed me multiple machines, and explained how to use them properly so I could get the best possible workout for my lower back. His guidance was thoughtful and genuinely helpful. What really made the experience stand out was at the end of my workout. I don’t even remember telling Sean my name, but as I was leaving, he gave me a warm, friendly smile and said, “Have a great day, Ben.” That may seem small, but it meant a lot—it showed real attentiveness and care. I actually made sure to look at his name tag on the way out so I could remember his name and leave a proper review, because that moment was special.
We love the central YMCA. All the staff members are so welcoming and very helpful Our son is Currently doing basketball. coach Andy is awesome with the kids. They all connect with him very well It is also wonderful to Have the young adults and teenagers who help out with Program. Another plus is that the central YMCA has both indoor and outdoor pools. The community is really great.
