Wow, I will never be able to say enough about the family that runs this place. Me and my friend had just finished 6 weeks of work in Stafford, Virginia and we're driving home to Idaho when we met them on a Saturday afternoon. The bearing for the drivers side rear tire on my 02 Ford focus went out on the I80 about 8 miles before the exit. We pulled over and the brake drum on that tire was smoking. We looked and realized the e brake was left on. Figured that's what we felt and tried to go down the road. Cat did and felt fine slowly getting to speed and the at about 50mph that tire locked up for a second and the car danced across the road. We realilized it was worse then we thought and made the best decision of the day, We took a minute and said a prayer!!!! Then we looked for help on google maps. Found a mechanic about 6 miles away and drove there slowly. Got there and it was in the country away from everything and closed. Called the phone number and they were gone till monday. We drove down the road a little and pulled over. After taking the tire off and realizing we were stuck I was about I tears with no idea how I was getting home in time for a doctor's appointment Monday, let alone with all my stuff in the car. Then a big flat bed pulled up and asked if they could help. Feeling down I was about to say probably not but the other guy with me said, "oh maybe" and told him we think the breaks are broke. The man and his wife pulled over and he came to look at it. We dug in deeper and found the bearing was gone. He simply said he didn't have the tools there and he would be back with his trailer. We can stay with them till we get it fixed. He then left and got his trailer. Took about 30 min. 20 min into waiting, another bid truck pulls up. I go to talk to him and he says he is a friend of the guy helping me. So we chatted till they arrived. The 2 men went to work and loaded my car on the trailer and we headed down the road. They told us they were headed to dinner with some friends when they saw us and so we're gonna drop us off at the camp. 9 weeks of camps had just finished and the were packing up. By the time we got there. Their son had gotten up sleeping bags and pillows. The wonderful lady showed us into the kitchen and giant freezer. Said to eat to our hearts content. Then took us to a cabin with the sleeping stuff and towels for a shower. Then over to the other building with the soda machine. While she showed us around her husband unstrapped the car and put a jack under it. All this time the other man was getting the part I needed from o'reilly's. The husband said they were gonna go to dinner and dive into it when they get back. Told us to clean up eat and try to relax. So we took hot then cold showers with awesome pressure. After that we are. I had mcrids, mac and cheese and ham slices. Then some coffee cake. As we finished eating. We went to look at the car and the son and the man that got out part were walking up to the car. They dove in and changed the barring. Even had to get a cutting torch to get it off the spindle. Me and Austin were there to help the entire time but they just did it all. After they were finished the man wished up the best. He then asked us to spread our testimony about the day and left. We took a walk through the wood and had a moment with the Lord. Then returned and loaded up said thank you to the son, left a note and hit the road. Said a prayer be_ore leaving and had a safe drive the rest of the was. The Lord showed up in a huge way, just like He ALWAYS doesn. Thank you for your prayers, they were answered!!!!!

CIBC is a great church camp. The kids had a blast here - they have a fun water slide, plenty of room to spread out and have fun, and they have built bathrooms into each sleeping cabin.
