Powered by GoogleMy daughter has been to 2 different camps at Sacajawea and had a great time. The camp leaders do a fantastic job at making the girls feel comfortable, engaged, safe and having fun.
I grew up at this camp, the food is great, the activities don’t get old, and there’s always another new and interesting camp session to attend. I’ve never attended or wanted to go anywhere else. From a camper to now an almost counselor, this place has always been my home away from home. 💗🌷🍋
My daughter,9 yo, has done 3-5 day horse camps here two years in a row and she absolutely loves it. The councilors are so helpful, responsible and respectful. My daughter has stayed in air conditioned cabins and non-air conditioned. Obviously, she likes the air conditioned more, but they had ceiling fans in the non air-conditioned cabins and when the temps got severe, the campers were moved to an air conditioned area to sleep. The food is great! They are extremely helpful with kids with medications and the girls can even write home electronically if they want. She will definitely be going back and this camp is a big reason why she is in girl scouts in the first place. I would highly recommend it.
If u ever have the chance to do a mud run here. I highly recommend u take the opportunity. I did one this morning with my 8yr old daughter. Most fun I've had playing in the mud since high school football!!!
We took 15 girls for an overnight camping trip and had a blast! Plenty of room around the fire ring, lots of hiking, and the lodge had all the necessary amenities.
