Carlson's Llovable Llamas is a family-operated llama farm in Waconia that runs summer Llama Camps where kids interact with the animals through trail walks, leading and grooming, and even llama yoga while learning about the llamas. Camps run in multi-day summer sessions from 9:00am to 2:00pm. The farm also offers birthday parties and an adopt-a-llama program.

I love the atmosphere of the place, the knowledge the staff has for the animals they love and just the whole experience. I love the interaction you get to have with the llamas and it's always a nice time when you get to hang out with baby llamas and new born llamas. A fun fact I learned is that llamas are pregnant for 11 months, they are pregnant for almost a while year. That's crazy to think that they are carrying that baby for that long. I would highly, highly recommend this place for anyone who loves llamas or animals and want to bring their kiddos to be around animals they typically don't get to interact with, unless at the MN zoo.
