Our team, played Capital FC on 04/19/2026 at the PCC Hillsboro Campus and beat them 2-0. In all of the years my son has played soccer, this was the first time we have seen a team play such an unethical team with no sportsmanship. There were two primary youth on this team that were the primary agitators. Number 54 and number 87. This team not only repeatedly slapped, hit, and kicked our team, but thought it to be funny by having a team huddle off of a dead ball and then kicking towards our supporters, all while laughing about it. Luckily, this ball went over their heads and missed several small children on the sideline. When we saw Capital City FC play the way they were, we reminded them of what good sportsmanship was. Number 54 then proceeded to tell his father that we called him a racial slur used towards Latinos. It should be noted that my son is Mexican and I speak fluent Spanish. This father then proceeded to stare us down for 30-minutes and when the game was over, approached us and threaten to beat us up. If my child played and treated opposing players the way the Capital City FC squad did, I would have pulled him off the field with or without the coaches blessing. This squad and the coach that represented your club should be ashamed of how they behaved on the field. Such an embarrassment to the sport.

Our experience with Capital Futbol Club has been frustrating and inconsistent over multiple seasons, and this most recent situation confirmed our decision to step away. We followed the registration process correctly and submitted a specific coach request at the time of registration. Despite that, the request appeared to be overlooked during roster formation. When we reached out for clarification, the responses we received were dismissive and, at times, inaccurate. Initially stating our daughter wasn’t even registered, which was incorrect and later confirmed. While we understand that requests are not guaranteed, the larger issue was the lack of thorough review and the tone of communication. Instead of a collaborative or solution-oriented approach, responses felt reactive and final, with little effort to fully understand the situation before responding. We were ultimately told nothing could be done and were issued a refund minus an administrative fee, despite having registered on time and followed up promptly once the issue was identified. There are good coaches within the program—Coach Nix, in particular, provided a great experience for our daughter—but the overall organization, communication, and consistency at the club level did not meet expectations. I would encourage families to be aware that requests may not be meaningfully considered and that communication can be challenging if issues arise.

Lots of fields. Grass is in perfect condition. Outhouses are maintained well. They are building a brand new indoor facility

Summer time, sunny days are pretty ok but Rainy day fields are so slippery and grasses aren’t good enough for many soccer games. Portable toilets are plenty of there but very muddy and wet so when you walk over there very becareful so slippery areas. Parking lot is tight each other. They have food trucks so if you were hungry you can get some food immediately.

Capital Futbol Club has been a part of our lives since my boys were 7 and 9 yrs old. They are 16 and 18 now. My youngest still plays with them and is on a premier year-round competitive team. There is A LOT of travel and a lot of games at this if your kiddo gets to point - buckle up because you're in for a ride. I would also say there's been positive and negative things throughout the years, but that's expected with an organization that is growing and expanding and trying to find it's place in the community and in the great soccer culture of area. It's been fun tho seeing the club grow from a couple of grass fields and a dirt parking lot with an old trailer as an office to what it is now - and they're not done yet. My son has had good coaches throughout his time there and has evolved into a solid player. You would definitely need to check out their website to see all the club offers beyond just their competitive and recreational programs.
