I’m writing this because I think the people at this club generally have good intentions, but the overall experience has been disappointing. When we first joined, the leadership was very open about the fact that they struggle to keep their best players. At the time, I took that as a sign of humility and a desire to improve, but in hindsight, it felt more like they’ve diagnosed the problem without actually changing the habits that cause it. The on-field coaching itself is decent, but there is a total lack of follow-through. When we were given an assessment of what my son needed to work on, I followed up to ask how the team's training would support those goals. I was told they didn't owe an explanation for their coaching methods. It’s hard to feel like you’re part of a development "process" when the communication is that closed off. The logistics are also a constant headache. We dealt with frequent, last-minute changes to practice times, locations, and even days. Combine that with the communication from the lower-level coaches—which is often just one-line emails or incomplete sentences—and it becomes very difficult to stay organized as a family. I really wanted this to work, but the disorganization and the "take it or leave it" attitude toward player development make it hard to recommend for families looking for a structured environment.

Great at coaching kids that are already good. Not great at developing kids. Terrible communication. Nice families and kind kids.

Emailed Albion academy about one of their coaches unprofessional behavior towards 12/13 year olds and parents and I’ve yet to hear back.. Albion coach told players from other team “you guys are shit” as they walked away from the end game handshake. He also made rude remarks towards a parents physical appearance- telling him to “lose some weight” and even went as far as saying it in Spanish “pinche gordo” since parent is of Hispanic descent. That kind of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated nor excused. I hope the coach gets talked to and he’s taught good sportsmanship.

After registering "premier" they will ask you to buy mandatory gear from them that costs more than $400!one of the mandatory items is buying a backpack!! And that does not include the registration fees of approximately $1450. My point is nobody mentioned anything about this cost while registering. Posting this review so other parents can estimate how much they will pay.
