Just went last Saturday with my class and loved the experience. Nice, knowledgeable people, easy to follow instructions, and an overall amazing experience. I recommend slowing down at times to look at the wildlife and enjoy nature. It adds to the experience. Would definitely do this again.
Jay has been doing shuttles and rentals For me for a few years now. He is a wealth of knowledge And is a perfect ambassador to the Saluda. He believes in community and is unbelievably dependable. I wish more outfitters ran their operations the way Jay does.
J.Alley performs river magic for those who need it most. One of the best non profits serving children in the region.
Our church group took a trip down the Saluda using Canoeing for Kids. The staff was excellent, they were friendly and very knowledgable. There were several people in our group who had never been in a kayak…after a short lesson everyone felt very comfortable taking this adventure. The river was absolutely beautiful! There were a couple small rapids to go through…fun not scary. When we finished the river trip we had a picnic lunch on the Canoeing for Kids property. The property is very well maintained and beautiful. We will definitely be taking this trip again next year!
