My 12 yr old son just completed his first sleep away week at Camp Wapo and he had nothing but rave reviews to share the whole car ride home. From the great food, the wonderful counselors (shout out Taylor & Pierce!), the games to growing in his faith, it was a wonderful experience all around. This camp has been around for a long time, and they're in the process of making some renovations and expansions to the common spaces. The camper cabins are air conditioned, which was a nice surprise, but the interiors should be on the list for updates soon, too, hopefully. It was suggested that we bring a foam mattress topper for our kid and I'm glad we did. Having the opportunity to view daily photos and send messages to our kid was an added bonus. It kept us connected despite not being in touch. The standout for sure was the staff of young adults who have dedicated their precious summer days to connecting, supporting, and guiding the faith of these campers. They have what seems like boundless energy and creativity and I'm so grateful to them. My son has already requested that he attends camp again next summer! Thank you Camp Wapo!!

Camp Wapo is a magical place. It's where I found my faith. I would highly recommend, as it's a very trustworthy place. Awesome people, awesome community. I was a camper, counselor, and now am sending my kids there :) full circle!

Awesome. Best food. Great comradre. One week of crafts, excellent speaker, singing, campfire, old friends, new friends. Very relaxing. Do a lot or do a little, what ever you want. Music jam sessions. Read a book in a sunny spot. Saw eagles, wood ducks on a beautiful lake setting. Tai chi, yoga, dancing.
