Camp Chetek is a Christian (fundamental Baptist) overnight camp on the Chetek chain of lakes in northwestern Wisconsin. It offers a mini camp for grades 1-3 (ages 6-8), Junior Camp for entering grades 3-7, and Teen Camp for grades 7-12. The lakeside setting supports water-tubing, kayaking, swimming, an inflatable blob, plus horse rides, rifle and archery ranges, and a high ropes course.

★Frootloops87I'm 20 now, and I remember going here when I was younger. I recall having fun playing with all the other kids, but I also remember the adult counselors being pos to the kids, including me. A couple of instances stand out. I couldn't sleep in the middle of the day mind you and while I was talking to the kid in the bunk next to me, I got yelled at by a grown man with a temper problem. I remember crying for the rest of the day. I thought about that for months after that. Another time, during a class by the lake, the instructor made fun of a kid for having visible armpit hair when he raised his hand to ask a question. If your IQ is low enough, you might think this is funny. But imagine being a 12-year-old boy going through puberty, and a grown man is making jokes about it in front of a bunch of kids your age who are likely experiencing the same thing. I attended this camp for four years and really had no choice not to be because my parents forced me to be there. You don't have to take my advice, but I wouldn't recommend sending your kids here
