I don’t usually write reviews but I gotta say… Camp W and Sean who runs it are on another level. From the moment we dropped our kids off, you could just feel they were in good hands. The camper-to-staff ratio is crazy good, so my kids actually got real attention, not just herded around in a big group. The staff took the time to actually see them for who they are. By the time we picked them up, it wasn’t just “oh they had fun” they were calmer, happier, and honestly different in the best way. The biggest thing? They got a total reset from screens and just lived in nature for a while. They came back dirty, smiling, telling stories about adventures instead of youtube videos. That hit me. It’s rare these days to see your kids light up from life instead of a screen. I didn’t expect it to impact them this much, but it did… and it stuck. They’ve been more grounded and easy to be around ever since. If you want your kids to have something real, something that actually changes them. This is the place.

One of the most meaningful and impacting decisions I've ever made for my kids was sending them to this camp. I can't begin to express my gratitude for the confidence, growth, and joy my kids have experienced through the programs and people of this camp. It checks all the boxes your traditional camp experience. And it's so much more than that, too. My 12 and 8 year old came home knowing how to filter water, identify plants, light camp fires, build basic shelters, and so much more. I'd recommend this camp to anyone looking for their young person to grow, get comfortable in nature, and become more self confident.

My niece was able to experience time at camp W. The staff and other kids were very welcoming and encouraging to a first time overnight camper . I feel in her short time there she was able to gain friends as well as have exposure to invaluable experience and diversity that the community of children and staff provided. She seemed to leave with even more curiosity than she had going in❤️. I hope she is able to return next year .

Great outdoor camp with numerous outdoor activities ranging from hiking/canoe trips to riflery archery and water/ boating excursions. Kids sleep in bunks, participate as a collective to help out doing farm chores, gather and make food etc. Various levels of camp available from day to over nights for one or more weeks. It's such a gift to give this newer generation a break from all the screens Ava get them back to nature to appreciate the world around them. My son came back happy and nourished and with a bright outlook on the world around him.
