My parents sent me to this camp in 2022. And it was the worst experience of my life. There was a mandatory swim test that had to be taken to be able to go in the water, I told the counselor that I did not know how to swim and had a water allergy. (I have a condition called aquagenic pruritus) they forced me to get in the water regardless and I nearly drowned and was coughing up water. The atmosphere was horrible. Every counselor was lgbt. Made us sit in a circle and talk about our pronouns. Highly uncomfortable. Not a neutral camp at all and push the LGBT narrative. The other teenagers there were also absolutely insufferable. Don’t recommend this camp for introverted children. They will be miserable.

I really didn't love my daughter's experience this year and neither did she. She ate ok, but said the food was pretty bad and when I picked her up she looked visibly thinner. She said mice came in and out of their cabin quite often which was concerning for me to hear and made me question their cleanliness... I love the organization and what they do for the community including their open desire to accept all people and being inclusive, but I just felt our experience was not very communicative, lack luster, and very, very basic. For the price of the full week being over 600.00 I think it would be very overpriced even though Im sure the cost to stay operational is a hardship. My daughter got half off as a scholarship which they offered and was so generous. We want to thank them for that and all they do for kids around here! I just hope that the emphasis on cleanliness, experience, communication and even more cohesion/friendliness can be taken as usable feedback. Very genuinely wish them the best!

I went to this camp thinking I was going to have a good time and not to do dishes for 3 hours after dinner and lunch and breakfast took us 1 hour and a half. I went to this camp and on the first day of me getting there they had us do 1 and a half hours of dishes they that wasn’t even the worst park every dinner and lunch was horrible every meal was uncooked and burnt and after dinner every day was horrible had to do 3 hours of dishes and only had 1 person helping me and they other kid was lazy and did nothing. I thought I went here for a leadership role but no they had me do dishes that is not leadership. I had no time to do any activities with the other people that went here. Do Not! Send your kids here! and not fun at all.

So much fun! I highly recommend going to the Women's Retreat in September... Bring your friends!! We were so busy learning & enjoying ourselves. This year we Celebrated my 50th Birthday & just might make this an annual event. Cabins & all facilities are clean & well stocked.

Fantastic summer camp that enforces the values of coexisting with nature and building the confidence and self-reliance needed for the real world. Archery, canoeing and hiking were favorites with my children.
