Powered by GoogleThe staff here is 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 over the top friendly and informative. I had to talk to Laura on the phone before I arrived at Lutherhaven (due to my technical abilities🤣🤣🤣🤣). And she was super helpful 💯 ‼️ This property is wow, 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟, beautiful and naturally "landscaped" on Lake Coeur D'Alene. Some Cabins, and the Mess Hall over look the lake " it's breath taking ❤️. The check in process was super fast when we got there. We unpacked our cars and then off to Chapel for some worship and The Word. Will, Meggie, Sarah and Alex were the leads for the weekend and were great. The skits they did were SO FUNNY and memorable. The "program" kept our kids attention 💯 ‼️ The game Gaga Ball, (think dodge ball on steroids, but not as dangerous) 🤣🤣was a huge success and kept many kids busy for hours and a perfect way for them to get out their energy while having FUN. O, then there was EPIC, Every Person In Camp. I laughed so hard at all of us running around on the snow covered ground trying to find hidden treasures and pool noodles, to get them to our safe space before getting tagged 🤣🤣. Everyone was enjoying themselves, thoroughly. The food was great. It's served buffet style, there was plenty of it, there were seconds offered after everyone had their first plate, no one went away hungry. There was endless hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and crushed peppermint 😋 😋 😋. There was regular coffee ☕ and decaf, too. Thank you. And several flavored creamers💃🤸♂️💃. There was a warm, cozy fire 🔥 🔥 in the fireplace with 2 rocking chairs for you to sit and enjoy some quiet time by the fire 🔥. The 2nd night after the amazing kid lead variety show, we all headed down to the amphitheater, by the lake, where we worshiped God and there was a huge roaring campfire. It was a beautiful clear night where the stars were brightly shining 😮. And they had S'Mores for everyone 🥰🥰. This camp will forever be etched in my memory as a wonderfilled weekend spent with my grand daughter and her friends. The cabins were clean, carpeted with a bathroom, shower and a separate 2 sink area, so several can get ready at one time. The beds were super comfy and I slept amazingly well.
My kids loved every moment of the camp! Thank you for the wonderful staff that kept them safe, entertained and went above and beyond to help me capture some moment's! I only regret not sending them sooner! Beautiful way to end our chapter living in the PNW!
Camp Luther Haven is easily my favorite place on the entire planet. They are constantly making improvements to the campground and all of their amenities and attractions they have a variety of events that they hold all year. I would highly recommend making time at some point in your life to attend one up there events
It’s a great camp but my cabin (Morningstar cabin) had a hole in the window screen. Besides that this is an awesome camp with a cool location and unique activities. I recommend the banana boat and giant swing. UPDATE: My sister as well as several other people got sick. Possibly from the food here. This camp has suspicious food that should probably be inspected. I wouldn’t recommend this camp to anyone who’s immune compromised. Also there were rodent droppings in our cabin. UPDATE: this camp gave me food poisoning as well avoid any meat or plants at this camp as they are clearly not being cooked or prepared properly.
My family was at Camp Lutherhaven over 4th of July. We had an amazing experience and met many great families. The staff was incredible and the accommodations were just perfect for our family!! We love this place and will be back!!
