I cannot overstate how much our family has benefited and grown from our involvement with Camp Mowglis. My 15 year old son is now a strong, independent, courageous kid in large part based on his summers at Mowglis. The camp has taught him so much. He developed a deep love for the outdoors, for pack hiking, for being part of a brotherhood. He learned things that I simply could not teach him. He was able to explore interests and developed new passions during his time at Mowglis. The traditions and the daily routines of camp life ground him and gave him a sense of place and structure. He is now a teenager who willingly puts his phone away for weeks at a time because he knows how beautiful an unplugged world can be. For that alone, I will forever be grateful to Mowglis. We are an expat family and through his summers in New Hampshire, my son has developed a sense of home. A place to which he can always return and always find the comforts of the simple things in life. You will not regret your decision to send your son to Mowglis.

Mowglis is the most wonderful place. It is what a summer camp should be. My older son went for six years, and will be working there this summer. My younger son will be in his third year. (His twin sister has said in the past she wanted to be a boy so she could go to Mowglis.) The boys learn to live in nature, do activities such as hiking, camping, rowing, canoeing, swimming, archery, tennis, and more. They are taught about respect and having to work well with other people. Most important, to be kind. A camp director is very very important, and Nick Robbins is the best. I can’t say enough good things about Camp Mowglis.
