A wonderful day camp with plenty of outdoor activities for kids and beach days all the time! Great people, great location. Our son came home dirty and tired every day.

This is not just a summer camp with GREAT staff and programs ! Wonderful trips, overnight stay in July, interesting speakers, swimming, fishing, coanoeing and kayaking-alllll these happen to be in Hugh Taylor Birch state park in the shadows of wonderful gigantic trees with turtles around! For the second year we feel part of the Camp Live Oak family. My son was here for the whole summer season last year and when this year we thought what to do: there was no doubt for us that Camp Live Oak is the best option. David was supposed to finish the camp last week, but he asked to prolong it for another week. In spite of the fact that we live 1 hr drive from the camp my son makes these trips to the camp with great enthusiasm and love. Mr. Ken, Mrs Cita, Mrs Kristen, Mrs Susanna and the rest Camp Live Oak team, thank you for everything you do! With Love and Gratitude, Irina and David

We highly recommend the Salty Anglers program at Live Oak. Before Salty Anglers our kids never caught anything. Now, each day they come home telling us about the fish they caught and released. They teach them everything from setting the hook to reeling in their catch. Our eight-year-old daughter caught four fish yesterday. The Salty Anglers counselors Ms. Lee, Ms. Elle, and Ms. Callie are so nurturing and responsive. The founder is also very hands-on and attentive. I only wish we would have found this camp sooner. If you haven't done the Salty Anglers program at Live Oak, you're missing out.

Such an AMAZING camp for all ages, this was our first year and we wish we had started years ago! The Leaders In Training "LIT" Teen Eco program is such a great opportunity for teens, they learn to work as Jr. Counselors with younger kids and still get to enjoy group activities daily with their age group. The Staff are all so welcoming and hands on... true mentorship! Great way to earn Volunteer Service Hours while having fun! The day to day activities were so much fun... beach outings, sports, team building, archery, outdoor art, fishing, canoeing, survival training such as shelter building and best of all Shark Tagging with NSU! The best outdoor and Marine Eco Camp!!!!

My daughter has been going to Camp Live Oak since she was 5 years old and she’s now 13. This is by far the BEST camp ever. Here’s why: You child will have a variety of experiences by going to this camp than any other camp in the FT Lauderdale area. She/he will learn all about the outdoors-nature-and all that it has to offer by trained, energetic staff. Here’s some of what they do. Archery Swimming every day Canoeing, fishing, kickboxing Arts and crafts using recycled items. Team building Life long friendships Skills that will last a lifetime If you’re thinking “it’s too hot, or “what do they do if it rains” there is always a plan for rainy days and the kids stay entertained. And Ken Evans, the owner is very involved and knows the kids!! My daughter will get to be a Leader In Training next summer and learn all new skills!!
