Private
Miami EcoAdventures, run by Miami-Dade County, operates nature camps for children ages 6-14 held during spring and summer school breaks at several county nature centers such as A.D. Barnes Park and Arch Creek Park. Campers snorkel Key Biscayne's seagrass beds, canoe mangrove backwaters, bike scenic trails, kayak-fish, and take wildflower and owl walks, with hands-on outdoor exploration and non-competitive games. The program emphasizes appreciation of nature and science.

Powered by GoogleWe went today to the introduction to archery at AD Barnes park nature center with Ian and Mrs Candy. We had a great time. We leaned safety protocols and the proper way to shoot an arrow. They made it very informative and lots of fun. I would highly recommend it. Thank you for a nice morning.
Canoeing down the oleta river. What a beautiful way to spend a Sunday. And our guide Michelle and Marjorie 100/10, very knowledgeable
Willie and Peter were excellent instructors. They were patient and made the class fun. Very relaxed and safe environment. Loved it.
We had an amazing time doing fishing for beginners with Peter, we learned different nots and different bait techniques and the different types of salt and fresh water fish.
What a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday morning in Miami! Gonzalo and Jose were excellent guides during the 2.5 hour kayak trip in Biscayne Bay. I had no idea that the Miami-Dade park service offered such fun events at great prices. I've already picked out my next outing!
