Great camp, although it’s been a while and they changed ownership since I went. I went in the summer of 2017, but the staff was great and VERY enthusiastic and the food was great. Can’t say much about the merit badges as I was a first-year and took the woodsman program that gets some rank requirements completed, but that program was great too and I really got a lot done. (Totin Chip, Firem Chit, and lots of tenderfoot and second class requirements.)

There are a lot of abandoned buildings nearby. The camp looks like it has not been used on many years. Such a shame. It is a beautiful area that should be utilized and enjoyed.

loved this place after going for 5 years as a scout and 1 year as a staff. sure they were unorganized but I had fun. It would be really sad to see it go. I really enjoyed Pendola even if we had to cancel for my troop 2 times because of mountain lions. I still remember the stories and if the camp does end up shutting down due to low funding then I will take the stories and experiences with me thank you for all the great times!

Went with H.Y.L.C camping and we had a blast. The staff was great teaching the kids activities. And the food was even better this year.

The Scout spirit lifts up most of the limited number of paid staff. I have spent a week here, for 6 out of the past 7 years. No on-site lake, and older swimming pool complex. Otherwise 5 stars!
