My son and his friend went to the 3D ar coding and game design summer camp for teen at Integem. They learned quite a lot. While my son seemed to understand the concept. His 3d project is quite big and crashed his computer. He had to use my husband’s computer to make it work. One improvement: I felt the teacher should have let us know earlier we need a i5 computer for his 3D class so that we would have properly prepared for him.

I write this review to recommend the ar digital art and animation camp. My son loved it. He hated computer before, but after one-week of the camp, he felt comfortable to to use iCreator to create his own animation. He requested to learn 3D AR art and animation. Unfortunately, we have arranged all his summer with different camps. He is quite disappointed about this. But he will be back next year.

Excellent AR coding camp by Integem! Nice small classroom set up and my daughters liked the teachers and the program. My 12-year old went to several coding classes before and she loved this one the most because she felt icreator is most magical and she can program people into the AR world. My 7-year old had no coding experience. And I am glad that she can learn well too. Lunch was great! Strongly recommend for young girls and boys.

Integem camp is by far the BEST camp my children have ever had experience with! It was their favorite camp and want to come back every year. Thanks for everything. They've been to other "creative" camps which proved to be "low tech". Some even using high school students to teach. Integem camp is a paradigm shift. It teaches kids and teens future forwarding technology. They don’t use papers or “copy and paste” coding approaches. They truly focused on enabling kids to learn and practice. Each student in the same class design their own projects. At the demo day, I am so touched to see my children’s designs. Andrew has Autism is in 10th grade. And he told me he understand what love means after he did an animal protection project. It is a quite complicated program that Andrew did. Here and there, his project needs some re-touches, and one part of his project had big bug during demo. And he had to do quick debug and fix to make it work. And when his program crashed, I was very worried that his frustration would result in something bad… But he was very calm and fixed the bugs in front of so many people. Later he told me that teachers are very good at helping him understand that it is very normal to have bugs and the importance to keep calm. I am glad that Andrew now can handle his frustrations and failure much better. My other two kids are younger and in another class. They did simpler projects and their demos were smooth. I saw their proud smiles in their demos. I loved their projects. They are looking forward to coming back again this summer.

The location on the google map is incorrect. The camp is in Mission San Jose High School. My kids loved the Integem Camp at Mission San Jose High School. They love to compete in design and programming. Initially, I signed up for the Holographic AR Space Voyagers for them. And they had a super good time at the camps and begged to sign up the Holographic AR Digital Art camp after the first-week camp. They learned how to use a computer, how to design, and program from the camp. Their projects are not as amazing as Disney animations. My younger daughter had no computer experience. She used her normal 6-year old drawing in the Holographic AR experience. It looks very funny and naïve. We laughed from the beginning to the end of her demo. My son had some coding courses before in middle school. His project is very cool. My daughter told me that she is a fan of her big brother’s design.
