Camp Heart Connection is the flagship program of Children's Cancer Connection, a nonprofit serving Iowa and Nebraska children affected by childhood cancer and their siblings. Held each June at the Des Moines Y Camp in Boone, along the Des Moines River, it is an overnight camp offering a supportive environment and traditional camp activities. The organization's programs include oncology, sibling, teen, family, and day camps, and all are provided to families free of charge.
