My son loved his first summer last year at this camp! He took the bus, which was really convenient since we aren't that close to NH. Favorite activities were boating, free swim - playing in the sand and 9 square, learning to crochet, gaga ball and visiting the canteen during lunch.

My 5.5 y/o daughter is in her second year at Camp Hadar; she LOVES it and talked about camp all this school year waiting to come back. She is a shy kiddo but has made friendships here very easily. Being a summer camp counselor is a very difficult job but the staff here are very good at making sure the campers are having fun and are being safe.

I grew up at Camp Hadar. It is my favorite place to be! I gained so much confidence and had so many unforgettable experiences throughout my years as a camper and as a staff member. Camp Hadar is a small and close family in which everyone cares about each other. Camp has every activity kids need to enjoy their day outside in the sun. I highly recommend sending your kids here and applying to work here! Here’s to 19 years!

Camp Hadar is a truly unique summer day camp. It's a warm and welcoming environment that has something for everyone, regardless of age or interest. As a small camp, there's a level of closeness and personalization that's very hard to find elsewhere. Having been both a CIT and counselor here, I can attest to the staff's attentiveness and passion for giving every camper an excellent experience.

A classic, affordable day camp with all the activities and a family feel. I went here as a camper and loved the relaxed atmosphere, doing crafts, making friends, learning to swim, boating, and being outdoors. Then it became my first job and developed my skills as a leader. During college, it was always a place I could come back to work for the summer if I wanted to spend it in the community giving kids the fun experience I had and in the camraderie of the staff, and you still get to go home at the end of the day and have your weekends. The Jewish content is gentle and welcoming to all. It's a great place to be a kid.
