Camp Galileo North San Jose/Santa Clara runs a weekly summer day camp for kids in grades K-10 that mixes traditional camp activities with a project-based art, STEM and STEAM curriculum. The camp day is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with morning care from 8 to 9 a.m. and afternoon care from 3 to 6 p.m. available as add-ons. Campers are grouped by rising grade into Nebulas (K-1), Stars (2-3), Supernovas (4-5), Meteors (6-8) and a counselor-in-training program for rising 8th-10th graders. TK and pre-K campers are not accepted.

★Raghu KancherlaThe teachers for Nebula were not at all good. My son 5yrs old did not eat his lunch one day as he was unable to open the lunch box lid . I am surprised that no teachers helped him to open the box. I reported to the director and she promised that they will be more vigilant. However, same scene repeated during the next week also. I do not recommend for kids below 6 years.
