Camp Galileo La Grange is a week-by-week STEAM day camp for kids entering grades K–8 (roughly ages 5–14), part of the national Galileo Camps chain. Rising K–5th graders rotate daily through an Innovator's Studio for individual STEAM projects, an Idea Lab for group design challenges and Outdoor Adventure for team games, while rising 6th–8th graders build one week-long project such as a remote-control robot, custom go-kart or escape room. The camp day runs 9 am–3 pm with optional extended care from 8–9 am and 3–6 pm, and each week carries its own theme, so multiple weeks do not repeat. Need-based scholarships are available; summer 2026 camp is hosted at St. Francis Xavier, 145 N Waiola Ave.

Powered by GoogleThe camp itself is great. My child had a ton of fun and created a lot of nice things BUT the customer service is TERRIBLE!! If your camper misses a day of camp for any reason that is out of your control, they will NOT accommodate you by means of refunding the day or letting your camper make the missed day up. You are spending close to $500 per WEEK on this camp, and you just throw away that money if your camper doesn't attend. I was so so so disappointed with the customer service and how cold and unaccommodating they were. For this reason we will not be returning to this camp.
Editing my review as my child has now gone to the camp. The customer service in the beginning was pretty terrible, but the camp itself is amazing. There are a lot of kids, but it is very well organized and the staff are really great. They do a good job of getting to know each child, learning their names, and keeping them engaged. Loved the themed days and the activities, Original: My review is based solely on the customer service for now. I received a discount code in the mail and tried to register but it doesn't work properly. I reached out to them multiple times and was either ignored or told they 'were too busy' to handle my request. Overall a frustrating experience.
