Camp Galileo is a STEAM and design-thinking day camp held at Swigert International Elementary School in Denver, serving kids entering kindergarten through 10th grade. Rising K-5th graders rotate daily through three areas: Innovator's Studio for individual STEAM projects, Idea Lab for collaborative design challenges, and Outdoor Adventure for team games; rising 6th-8th graders spend the week on a single in-depth project, and 8th-10th graders can join as counselors-in-training. The camp day runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with optional extended care from 8-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.
