Camp Galileo's Highland/Wheat Ridge site, at 7101 West 38th Ave in Wheat Ridge, is a STEAM and design-thinking day camp for kids in grades K-10. Younger campers rotate daily among an Innovator's Studio for individual STEAM projects, an Idea Lab for collaborative design challenges, and Outdoor Adventure for team games; older campers spend the week on a single in-depth project. The camp day runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended care from 8-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m. Galileo operates three Denver-area sites plus Boulder and Broomfield locations.

There are way better and more engaging art camps in Denver area for half of the price. My daughter was bored brought books and crochet from Home because there was nothing to do for the whole day. They don’t spend time outside despite nice weather. Extremely disappointing and expensive. The check in and check out process is absurd, the same staff members see you day in day out and request ID each time. Absolutely un-necessary procedure in the drop off folks!
