YMCA camp! Our son enjoys spending his summer breaks here at day camp. Plenty of outdoor activities to keep them busy and come home tired.

Absolutely horrible place to swim, you can’t have any type of fun without being screamed at by the blonde headed lifeguard. She was rude the entire time to everyone in the pool. Kids are kids and don’t deserve to be screamed at like she was. We witnessed her scream *literally scream* at a 1 year old because he was running and his parents were trying to catch him! I get there’s rules to keep people safe but some of the rules make no sense in a pool, like you can’t be underwater for more than a second and you get screamed at. The point is the lifeguard needs to get off her power trip and treat people like humans rather than yelling at people like they are animals!!

Great camp. Very nice setup that the YMCA has going on here for the kids to have a great summer camp. Has a pool for the kids to swim in, a horse stable for them to ride horse's, a bow, an arrow/bb gun range for them also and other things for a child to enjoy.

Camp Frontier is owned and operated by the Alamance YMCA. We go here for the pool. The pool is old, but decent enough to cool you off in the hot southern summers. The restrooms are filthy. The lifeguards are not consistent in pool rules. It is disappointing when you are treated differently each time you go. It seems that mostly families use the facility. I did see a lifeguard tell one person that alcoholic beverages were not allowed.

We get a membership at camp frontier pool every summer. It's the perfect place and it's secluded so it's never overcrowded. Not a fan of one of the lifeguards though as she is on a power trip and can be rude.
