Camp Evergreen is a Sheboygan nonprofit, operating since 1926, providing summer camp and respite programming for children and adults with cognitive and other disabilities. Traditional five-day sessions run mid-June through mid-August, Monday-Friday, at a 3:1 camper-to-staff ratio, with swimming, arts and crafts, campfires, and community outings.

Camp has been such a huge help with all of my siblings who have disabilities,it’s also an amazing place to work
My brother has attended Camp Evergreen for over 20 years now. He always looks forward to it and has a great experience. The staff are always attentive to his needs, and he is well cared for while he's there. They also keep him busy, engaged, and included, modifying activities to his ability or interest level when needed. Camp Evergreen also kick-started my career in the special needs field. After a few summers as a counselor, I gained invaluable experience while getting to know all kinds of people with various types of disabilities. I gained skills in the areas of collaboration, caregiving, and activity directing, which helped me go on to become a caregiver in other environments and eventually a special education teacher.
I love Camp Evergreen very much so it is a great place to go to Camp.
great place for special needs adults and children to go for day service activities and or the weekend camp stays they offer for them with activities on and off during the fall and winter and the summer camp week they offer is great as well.
