Great time as a first visit with the scout group!

Great place, lots of fun activities for the kids. The facilities need some care and maintenance as well as some structures that need to come down. A shame the scouts can't do service projects for the scouts and get credit for it. This place could benefit greatly from more volunteers.

This would have been a 5. For camp experiences, 5/5! Camp was well organized, the space was clean and friendly staff. But as a scout, I had to give a 4 based on lunch. Part of the scout law is to be clean, thrifty and clean. I am disappointed by the lunch. When my 7-year old pointed out that we had a not healthy meal with no fruits and vegetables and in styrofoam. Acknowledge the message you send in the philosophy and actions.

Wonderful cub scout camp in Kiel. The camp has lakes, a bog, trails, archery and bb gun shelters, etc. The camp counselors are magnificent. Their high energy really gets kids in the camping spirit. All the instructors for the different classes were very knowledgeable and helpful. A little info for the rookie scout parents - the 4 bunk houses - train station, viking ship, Fort and castle all have electricity, kitchens, bathrooms, showers, bunk beds etc. The houses are not air conditioned, but stay fairly cool with all the shade.

This a great scout camp. It was really awesome to see the different buildings and how they were build. I would love to bring my den here again.
