Camp Croix is an amazing place! "The Camp Beneath the Cross" perfectly reflects the mission and goal of the events hosted there. It's so refreshing to spend time in God's Word and his creation.
Camp Croix continues to make improvements to the property! Great job!
We've had our annual church camp here for the last few years and it works out great for our group of about 150 people. Cabins that sleep 4, a lodge with full kitchen, rooms upstairs, spots with electricity for trailer campers and another area for tenting, this place caters to everyone's camping preferences. The shower house is nice, but still feels like a community camp. The water front is sandy bottomed and a super clear Rooney lake has fishing and swimming readily available. To small docks, canoes, row boats, and all the life jackets you need and a water trampoline makes the water front even more fun. The highlight of the summer, and a great place to enjoy a campfire and good company!
My wife started coming when she was 12. We've been coming together for the last 8 years with our own children. Its a wonderful place to go fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing and so much more. We not only enjoy the outdoors, but the conversation around the campfire, connections made and family-like atmosphere among strangers who quickly become friends. We hope that we're able to continue coming for years and years to come!
