Camp Champions is and has always been the BEST sleepover camp ever! I had the opportunity to go for 6 Summers when I was a child, and now my daughter and son have both gone to camp with my daughter just finishing her 6th year. When I picked her up, she said no way this was my last summer mom, I am coming back next year and the year after. Camp does so much to build confidence, independence, and it's a place you can just be you. Taking away all of the technology makes kids interact the way they are supposed to. It is also a place you make friends for life. I still keep in touch with my friends I made over 30 years ago at Camp Champions. The staff are fabulous and always go the extra mile. Excited to always talk about Camp Champions, and I still know all the songs that they are singing today. Can you say Tradition! Go Trojans!

Today we met with Camp Director Phyllis for a tour and was immediately greeted with hugs, warmth, and a comforting welcome! Phyllis is knowledgeable of the camps history and grounds and answered all of my mama heart questions with professionalism and genuine joy! My daughter was very excited and the tour helped to seal the deal on her request to go to an away camp for summer. The glistening lake views were also a winning factor for her! I’m very excited for what’s to come for my little one and can only hope that her summer will be as smooth and pleasant as our lovely introduction with Phyllis!

Georgia started going to Camp Champions after the 5th grade. The 5th grade was hard for her, she had been bullied at school as well as excluded from various activities. She was at a real low point. I can tell you that the kid we dropped off at camp was not the same kid we picked up - the transformation was visible! You could feel her happy and confident energy, my heart was so full. She has never been the same. Camp Champions has changed her life and she says it is her yearly reset to what is important. Our family is so thankful for CC, it has changed her life! Sincerely, A Very Happy Mom Edit - I wanted to add that camp is by far the most valuable gift we have ever given our daughter. She says this every day and we see CC help her grow into a better, happier version of herself every year.

Camp Champions has been an amazing experience for my kids! They have attended for two summers and we love the excellent communication between parents and the camp staff. My children enjoy all the activities, the friends they make, and the great counselors who work there. We are from Mexico, and this camp has helped my kids improve their English, feel welcomed, grow personally, overcome fears, and achieve goals. Two unforgettable summers, and they are waiting for next summer!

I've sent my teenage daughter to Camp Champions for two years in a row, now, and I have to say, it has been an incredible experience for us all. From the moment of arrival, we're greeted by friendly staff who really make our kiddo feel welcome. The camp has such a positive atmosphere; you can tell that everyone there is genuinely invested in making the campers’ experience a wonderful one. My daughter loves the variety of activities available—everything from arts and crafts to sports and outdoor adventures. Each day is packed with fun and friends (with zero technology-such a gift to have them all unplug for awhile). She's gained a lot of confidence during her time at Camp Champions, which is really heartwarming to see. Communication from camp is excellent as well. They provide regular updates, so I feel connected without being intrusive. And the daily photos they send you of your child are priceless. Plus, the camp is set in a beautiful location, on Lake LBJ, which just adds to the overall awesome experience. Camp Champions has been a fantastic choice for my daughter. At the end of her weeks away from us, she comes home with great memories, new skills, a big smile, and a request for another-even longer- experience for the next Summer. I would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for a summer camp with a screen-free environment that fosters character development, meaningful connections, and an appreciation for nature and real-world challenges. All great stuff.
