Camp Bethel is the outdoor ministry and event center of the Virlina District Church of the Brethren, founded in 1927 on 470 acres near Fincastle. Summer camps serve ages 4 to 18 and include week-long resident camps, day camps, adventure and trip camps, performing-arts camps, specialty camps and family programs. The camp is ACA-accredited and staffed by trained counselors.

On 10•02•24 I got married to the most beautiful girl in the world at the most peaceful, loving, environment and I wouldn’t of been able to create such a beautiful moment without the help of Camp Bethel and Staff! If you’re considering sending your kids to camp, booking an event, coming to an event, or even to just hike Horseshoe Bend. Stop considering! DO IT! Still needs updating in several areas including bathrooms and showers and needed kitchen appliances and other basic kitchen needs and updates for food prep.
