Camp Alamisco is a Seventh-day Adventist Christian overnight camp on 55 acres along Lake Martin near Dadeville, operating since 1968. Age-grouped programs include Adventure Camp (ages 7–9), Junior Camp (ages 10–12), and Teen Camp (ages 13–16), plus all-ages family camps. Activities range from archery, swimming, and crafts to wakeboarding, horseback riding, and evening worship.

★★Josie TolentinoDisappointed at the changes the camp has made over the years. They used to hire photographers and upload hundreds of photos for parents which is the only way to see how your kid is doing because it’s essentially no contact for an entire week. Now it’s maybe a handful and half of them are staff pictures which is fine but c’mon the campers are the ones paying for the experience. Then you might if you’re lucky find a picture posted of your kids but have to look through all of their socials and screenshot straight from instagram story. Really??? While I’m here let me add that the website is also horrible, in order to access my account I have to act like I’m going to register a new camper then I have the option to jump over to account overview and login. I give my kids about $100 of store money every year and they spend about $50 and the camp never gives the leftover money back. Around camp time the following year it appears in their balances but doesn’t give me a way to refund my money after camp. Can’t book a stay in the INN on the website either or even view availability. You can fill out a request and sit around for a response or try calling and emailing them yourself to get adequate info.

The atmosphere was peaceful, uplifting, and beautifully connected to nature, making it the perfect place to rest, reflect, and grow. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food — especially the Italian Haystacks, which were amazingly delicious! Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. Ranger Todd and his wife, Shelly, were exceptionally gracious hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure all of our special dietary needs were met, and they did so with such kindness and care. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit. The property is absolutely beautiful, with plenty to do: boating, swimming, canoeing, and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The food was great, and the rooms have been newly remodeled, which we appreciated—though they are a bit small, they were clean and comfortable.
