YMCA of Greater Montgomery · YMCA
YMCA Camp Chandler runs overnight and day sessions on the shores of Lake Jordan in Wetumpka, with swimming, canoeing, archery, hiking and group games; older campers can add zip-lining and axe throwing. Specialty camps and retreats run alongside the main summer sessions, and the camp has operated since 1928. Daily chapel is part of the schedule, reflecting the YMCA's spirit-mind-body emphasis.

Powered by GoogleMy son loves Camp Chandler. He like all of the counselors and they keep him safe during the numerous activities. It's wonderful to be outside cut off from electronics! So blessed he gets to go every year.
Our church brought the student ministry here for camp this summer, and we had an absolute blast there. Although some of the facilities aren’t far from needing an update, the staff, activities offered, and atmosphere at the property was phenomenal. I would love to come back, and recommend this place for anyone looking to have a great time at camp.
They are great. My sons love this place. They look forward to going each summer. They always tell me about all the fun things they get to do. 10☆
Our group attends every summer and we just finished our 2023 camp. It was great. The staff was wonderful and helped us have a fantastic week- they went above and beyond to compensate for the rainy weather by offering extra indoor programming and adjusting the schedule to work around the weather. We are already planning our next gathering here.
Our family has been going to the Halloween party at Camp Chandler since our children were small. Now they bring their children. We all look forward to going every year. This year we had four generations attending together. And my sister and I even talked our mother into dressing up with us as the Sanderson Sisters! We all had such a wonderful time. Our family ages ranged from 75 down to 10 months.
