Nice community place. I was there to give blood. Clean restrooms.

This clubhouse was great for a smallish blood drive. Small parking lot but not cramped and a mobility van (or other such conveyance of your preference) would have been able make use of the circle where you can pull up to the entrance for passengers to disembark and avoid the (very) short walk. I didn't see any handicap parking spots, but I wasn't really looking. I'm sure there's 1 or 2. The grounds looked clean, although a little bit of work on the furthest end of the lot appeared to be hosting some bobcats etc. Young person at the check in desk was attentive and answered my questions regarding the blood drive quickly and politely. The gym, where the red cross vampires were doing their thing, was spacious and I'd say the perfect size for a small event. Sadly, I cannot review what I didn't see or use - mobility ramps, automatic entry doors... A bathroom. I'm sure they have one, probably 2, but I didn't ask so I can't tell. I'm not well-traveled in Boone County, but there was a crawling-speed speed limit between Ford/Oak intersection North to a handful of roundabouts, past a couple of neighborhoods and then this building is right off or on a roundabout and very quiet, peaceful. No traffic to speak of. I would definitely come back to give more blood, might come for some other event. Who knows? Either way, enjoy!
