Chicago-based Indian dance and culture organization running Incredible India Summer Adventure, a five-day camp that journeys through five regions of India. She led two separate sessions on India, focusing on New Delhi, Agra, and an Indian wedding, which were specifically tailored for K-2 and 3-5 grade levels. Her high-energy storytelling and interactive dance lessons had the students up and moving, making the culture truly come to life. I honestly don't know how she maintains that level of energy, even during the first session when student cameras were off, but she remained incredibly encouraging and engaging throughout. If you’re on the fence about a virtual author visit, I highly recommend watching her website videos. This was an experience truly worth it and it was heartwarming to hear the kids say that they absolutely loved it.
