BlackRock Center for the Arts is a nonprofit arts center in Germantown offering summer camps in visual art, theater, music, and dance. Arts Journeys (rising grades K–5) blends visual art, drama, music, and dance, while the Performing Arts camp (rising grades 3–8) is an intensive musical-theater program; a half-day sports-and-arts option serves ages 5–11. Campers showcase their work on BlackRock's main stage, and a Counselor-in-Training program is offered for teens.

★Luis HernandezMy mom paid for tickets to an event, but when she got to her seat, there were people already sitting there. She then proceeded to show them the tickets she purchased, but was met with indifference and a piece of paper with hand written "tickets" for the seats. Instead of having those individuals moved, she was first met with more indifference before being told they could not help her. This led to the manager getting involved, who said the same thing before telling her she would have to find her different seats in a completely different part of the venue. I now know to never recommend this place and will be dissuading anyone I know from going as well.
