Powered by GoogleIf you are going to spend money on camp send your children to Frogbridge. This place is run down and you can tell the owners are too cheap to spend money to upgrade it. Also they use garden hoses that are left on the ground to fill up the dirty water jugs for the kids to drink from. It is disgusting. My child was so excited to go to camp and after 1 week didn't want to go back. He told me what he seen and how nasty the staff was not just to him but to other kids aswell. That they would make fun of the kids while the children were right there and heard it. I was hesitant on writing this review but parents need to know how bad this place really is. Don't send your children here this place is not worth the money.
This camp far exceeded my expectations. I have little, 4.5 & 3, and I was a little nervous to send them to Day Camp for the summer but every single day, these kids come home happy and telling me all about the new experiences they tried from fishing to horseback riding to swim lessons. They are so accommodating, Ian, the camp director and owner is beyond communicative, and talking to some of the lifeguards at pickup who have been there for 16+ summers just shows how much they also love Black Bear Lake. This was such a great experience and we’ve already signed our kids up for next summer!!!
My daughter attended this camp for 10 years. It was such a wonderful experience for her. I know she will look back fondly at the memories she made there during her summers and all the friends she made. I highly suggest this camp. I'm so happy we were part of the black the black bear family!
We went here on a church picnic and I must say we had a great time. If there are and any complaints, I could not find one compliant. The space was shared with a few other groups, which did not oppose a problem at all. The cost I have no idea, because my church off set the cost to lighten the cost on the church members.
Can't wait to send my daughter there next summer. The open house bbq was amazing. The staff really seems to enjoy their work. So much to do there its amazing. She can't wait for next summer!!!
