★★★★Alicia CThis place has a little bit for everyone. I came to a yoga class here, being taught by my mom. Spacious room. Cushioned mats on the floor. Just need to bring a towel or a thin mat to lay on and the props (you may need). Once the kids come in (running around the center to grab snacks, use restroom, or just being kids) it can get a bit noisy. But overall great spot.

This park has several baseball fields, a walking trail, a gymnasium, a pavilion with a bench, some benches scattered around the park, lots of beautiful trees giving shade, a double tennis court, a play set with slides, and it is right on side of a library. This park has tons of green space for picnics or to run around and play. This park is conveniently located and can be accessed from Barataria or Ames blvd. Just turn on Belle Terre Road from either aforementioned streets.
