When I come to Bay Club on the days Mia Pesavento is working, it brings such a nice atmosphere. I wanted to leave this review so all the managers and staff see how much a great vibe from employees helps the guests. Mia provides really good customer service to Bay Club, and I’m so happy when I see her at the reception.

I am beyond disappointed with Bay Club Courtside in Los Gatos. Since we joined, they’ve raised membership prices multiple times while continuously taking away benefits that members originally signed up for. First they removed daycare benefits one after another, we don’t change diapers we only watch for 2 hours this & that…made the daycare rules restrictive it became almost unusable. They changed guest pass rules so they can only be used during the FIRST month of each quarter — which is honestly absurd! Seriously what is the logic behind it?? — and now guest fees are up to $100. At this point, it feels like members are paying more and more while getting less and less. The constant changes make it impossible to trust what benefits will still exist next month. We joined based on what was promised, and Bay Club keeps moving the goalposts. Thirdly, the cleanness has become so bad recently… there are black molds in kids pool… hair everywhere in the shower… the towels are thin old and stained regularly.. The customer service is so bad as well! We went to the day care 2 times to get a tour and they said the manager has to be there. They took our names and write it on a paper but no one ever called us! There a few super young & rude kids running this gym, not experienced mature people. If you’re considering joining, be aware that the amenities and perks you sign up for may not stay the same!

The club is a great place for family and children activities including swimming, fitness classes and the summer camps. My son is learning to swim at the club. He is also learning to play basketball in their weekly classes that are included in the membership. This is a new offering by the children’s program director and my son really loves it. All the instructors are very friendly and really know how to engage kids.

I was a Bay Club member for three years, and it used to be a great place — clean facilities, professional staff, and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, things have gone completely downhill, and I can no longer recommend this gym to anyone. The membership office has become unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping long-term members, they talk down to people and act like they’re doing you a favor just by answering simple questions. The attitude there is honestly shocking for a club that charges this much. On top of that, the cleanliness has gotten awful. The shower area has black mold growing in multiple spots, and it’s been there for months with no signs of proper cleaning or repairs. It’s honestly unsafe and disgusting. For a premium club, this is unacceptable. Bay Club used to be worth the money. Now it’s overpriced, poorly maintained, and run by staff who don’t seem to care at all about member experience. I’m extremely disappointed and would not recommend anyone to join.

Overall, BayClub Courtside is a fantastic facility. It is a high-end club featuring two large gyms, numerous classes, a nice pool, and tennis courts. The cleanliness is top-notch, and amenities like towels and soaps are provided. Additionally, the club boasts a nice restaurant, a spa, and a sports store, which add to its appeal. Complimentary coffee is available every day until 11 am, along with a Bevi water machine, which I love. However, there are two main drawbacks: 1. The pool is great for swimming and includes a nice Jacuzzi. However, it is more suited for swimmers than families with kids, in my opinion. 2. The biggest downside is the parking situation. Most of the time, finding a spot requires a lot of waiting, ranging from 5 to 30 minutes on busy days. Although they have an additional parking lot, it is quite far and often full as well. It feels like the club keeps adding new members without addressing this issue.
