Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh runs a wide summer slate for ages 18 months and up, beginner through advanced. Younger children attend short themed camps: three-day fairytale camps built around Frozen, Moana or Beauty & the Beast, a My First Ballerina Camp for ages 18 months to 3, four-day American Girl and Barbie camps for ages 5-7, and a Junior Intensive for ages 6-10. Intermediate and Advanced Intensives meet Monday through Friday and can be taken on a one-, two-, three- or four-week basis with academy and guest faculty. Registration opens January 1 and younger camps are priced around $40-$50.
