Gino is the best! He’s so sweet and makes it so fun for my little one. The kiddos really respect and love him. Thanks Gino!

I just finished 5 months of voice lessons here as a complete beginner, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My initial goal was simply to enjoy singing more in the car, on road trips, or in the shower—but with Aaron as my instructor, I not only met that goal, I now feel confident singing at public karaoke! Aaron was fantastic at blending vocal education with practice. Every lesson combined clear explanations of singing concepts, warmups, and targeted exercises, along with constructive feedback. What stood out was his ability to not just point out differences between my voice and the original vocalist, but also explain how to get closer—linking specific adjustments back to the concepts he had taught me. That framework gave me tools I can use well beyond the songs we worked on together, and it made the progress both rewarding and practical. The entire academy has been a joy to work with. The admin staff are friendly and helpful, scheduling is easy, parking nearby is free and stress-free, and the lesson costs are very reasonable given the value I’ve gained. As an adult taking on a new passion, these lessons have added real meaning and joy to my daily routine. I highly recommend Ballard Academy of Music and Dance, and especially Aaron, to anyone considering voice lessons!

Judd is our daughter’s guitar teacher. He is incredibly patient, encouraging, and responsive to her needs. He also picks songs within her likes for better engagement (ex: Billie Eilish vs just using the lesson book). “He’s super fun and nice!” -budding 12 year old guitarist

I want to give a big thank you to Madison, my daughter’s contemporary and jazz teacher. She is incredibly kind, hardworking, and always goes out of her way to support her students. My daughter has grown so much as a dancer under her guidance and absolutely loves being in her class. We’re so grateful for the positive impact Madison has had on her dance journey!
