BAAY (Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth) is a nonprofit arts school offering summer camps in theatre, choir, dance, music, and visual arts for ages 3.5-17, most of them at its downtown Bellingham campus. Camp LarraBAAY takes campers outdoors to Larrabee State Park for full days of musical theatre, learning iconic choreography and songs and performing them for friends and family, in two multi-week sessions (June 24-July 5 and July 8-19). Camps are grouped by age, and students must reach the minimum age for their camp by the program's last day, with exceptions considered on request. Founded in 2006, BAAY states that no child has been turned away for inability to pay tuition.

The owner/director was so awesome and you could just feel the sense of community and belonging she has created with the kids. Her play was so creative and fun! The kids' performances were great and they included singing, dancing, and everything. You could tell the kids were super invested and worked really hard on it. I will definitely come back for another show!
