This club has the distinct privilege of both being incompetently run and dishonest. We finally gave up on them after they promised us something (in writing no less!) only to go back on it within two months. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere; kids are treated like an afterthought at this club.

Through out these years my son has learned discipline, teamwork and how to effectively communicate with others. This club is mainly a money generating operation. The coaches sound great on paper, but not in practice. The club manager, Raul, enables coaches and team managers that don’t know how to conduct themselves with parents, especially towards parents who dare to express the slightest displeasure with how coaches or team managers conduct themselves. There’s a clique atmosphere. They have so many teams per age group because so many parents on the Westside can afford club soccer fees and there are no tryouts. It’s like glorified AYSO soccer. As a result the talent is extremely diluted and the teams my son played on within the club were below average to really bad. The last team he was on lost almost every single game they played over the course of both Fall and Winter seasons. You might as well have your kid play core AYSO and save thousands of dollars per year. One of my son’s coaches told my son to stop complaining after my son simply pointed out that the team didn’t pass the ball an entire game. I watched the game. Not one kid passed the ball and the coach did not say a word about passing the entire length of the game. I politely texted the coach about the matter, because I didn’t appreciate him gaslighting my son, who was 8 years old, and making him feel like something was wrong with him. The coach ignored my text. This was the second time the coached ignored a text from me. There were other behavior issues from this coach, so I decided to discuss with the club manager. Long story short, the club manager blamed me and threatened to kick my son and me off the club for me daring to take issue with the coach’s obnoxious behavior. I was told: “This is not the environment where a parent can speak about coaches and the club the way you do, in a negative manner. Maybe this is not the right fit for you and your son. I’ll speak with the coaches and speak with you next week with an update.” I agreed to have my son switched to another team in the club to play out the remainder of the year contract. After enduring Fall and Winter seasons of blow out losses and a coach that was incapable of prioritizing what 9-10 year olds need to focus on to improve and win games, somehow I managed to get my son and I uninvited back for the 2023-24 year. What was my insufferable offense? I dared to politely express my displeasure to the team manager, Trinedy, who decided to take team photos without my son included. She then proceeded to share the beautiful team photos on the team chat for all parents to download, including the parent who’s son was missing. She never gave us a heads up about taking team photos. She didn’t even bother to text me prior to taking the photos before one of our games to see if we were close by. She could have easily taken the photos after the game when she knew all players would be present. Her response: “I’m sorry you feel that way. You can take photos too. I’m a volunteer, not paid to do any of this. And not paid to take any of your grief thank you.” She then requested that I not contact her again, (I’m not kidding) and that I should contact the club manager with any further comments. She proceeded to complain about my complaint (Lol) to the club manager, Raul, who then informed me that we are not welcome to return after our contract is up in a few weeks. And no, Raul did not bother hearing my side of what ever story the team manager conveyed to him about Team Photogate. Needless to say, I was not planning on signing another year contract with these folks who do not know how to conduct themselves like thoughtful human beings.
