Austin Tennis Center is described on its own site as Austin's newest and largest municipal tennis center, a public facility with 12 lighted courts, a lighted backboard and a fully staffed pro shop. Alongside adult and junior lessons and league play, it hosts specialized instructor-run camps for kids - including a four-day junior pickleball camp running 9-11 a.m. Monday through Thursday - with registration handled through the center's website.

Powered by GoogleThe courts are in really good condition. I like how this area is secluded which means there is no traffic to disturb you! The staff is nice as well ππ»
The pickle ball courts here are a disaster. The markings are not proper and the outdoor courts barely stop the wind. The red lines in the image are the markings for the court which is confusing as well.
ATC is awesome! I play pickleball and I been playing for 4 years. Lincoln, Kick, Chandler and Hector are super nice and professional. I highly recommend!
Austin has several tennis centers in town which give an almost country club like experience. The courts are good, you can reserve them, thereβs an office, which can string rackets, sells drinks, and can book lessons. Austin Tennis Center is a little bit farther out than most of them, but it has an enormous number of courts so it is the easiest one to book courts at. The booking process is not great, as the website is a little bit clunky, but if itβs not working, you can just call them and book it on the phone. Their lighting is excellent, and if you play pickle ball, Austin Tennis Center has installed several Pickleball courts, which are always busy. This is our go to location if weβre trying to book courts at the last minute.
Quite frankly, I did not play tennis on these courts. However, the courts did look quite nice. On the other hand, Austin Tennis Center is a nice starting spot to run on the Walnut Creek Trail. Iβve run many sections of this trail and I enjoyed this section the best. You get great views and great challenges with the hills. There isnβt anything too intense but if youβre looking to go for a longer run or bike ride, this is a great starting point.
