Austin Sports Center - Cedar Park

★★★Chizzilla

This venue is smaller in scale to most volleyball tournaments we attend. With limited parking and limited inside seating, it fills up fast. They were either short staffed or they let too many teams leave before the tournament ended as we had to have parents keep score, rotation stats and help referee(line judge) in order to start/finish our game.

★Chance Ruffin

Incredibly stupid idea to have parents wait in the lobby until 7:00 because the players and coaches need to be able to get in and move around. If everyone flows into the gym as they show up then there isn't a build up of people and a huge line right at 7 because everyone trickles in and spreads out to where they need to be. Instead they have the entire lobby filled with parents so now coaches and players have to squeeze through the mass of people waiting to be let in. seating is scarce and parking is worse. The annex was poorly insulated or not airconditioned properly to where it required a jacket which says a lot for the typical weather in central Texas.

★Big Country

Terrible venue for spectators. Upstairs viewing has too few seats, no restrooms downstairs. Just wholly inadequate. Should be removed from Texas volleyball considerations.

★★★★★Rion Dooley

Super clean, spacious sand volleyball courts with shaded seating around the entire perimeter as well as an elevated mezzanine viewing area overlooking courts 1 and 2. There appeared to be a concession area across from the ticket window, but it was not open for our morning tournament. They allowed coolers and drinks to be brought in, and parking was right next to the entrance. Really nice facility and the girls liked playing on the clean sand courts.

My brother and I went here for an agf tournament it was really nice but they should have bathrooms downstairs
