Arts Beacon is a creative arts studio in Atlanta's Grant Park running week-long summer camps grouped by age: Art Explorer camps for rising 1st-3rd graders and a 3rd-6th grade camp (both about $295 a week) in mixed media, drawing, painting and clay, plus Summer Tween Intensives in book arts, drawing and painting (about $225). Campers work with age-appropriate materials including clay, acrylic and watercolor, fabric, woodworking, plaster and collage. The studio occupies three storefronts at The Beacon Atlanta and has a working kiln; daily camp hours are not stated.
