Artascope
Private
A nonprofit art organization in Yarmouth offering art classes and studio memberships, with programming aimed largely at teens (ages 13-18) and adults—drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics and metalwork, often in outdoor settings and at community events. Available sources confirm teen and adult classes but not a dedicated summer day camp for younger children.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Artascope directly before you register or pay.

Powered by GoogleEarlier this spring, we had a great class in beginning ceramics, covered all the basic building and throwing techniques, Thanks Barry for a great class!
Highly recommend Laura's bezel ring class! She was hilarious, excellent at demonstrating and explaining each step, super patient and helpful. I had no idea what to expect, but the 6+ hours went by before I knew it! It was so fun and interesting, and you get some really cool jewelry to take home!
Kim was a fantastic instructor. Clear, concise instructions and good supervision. Thoroughly enjoyed this introduction to this ring making. I had no prior experience and thoroughly enjoyed this experience! I would highly recommend Kim's class to anybody!
Great studio for silversmithing. There are lots of other art classes to take. It's an awesome place to explore your creativity. I love that they welcome all levels. The instructors are kind and courteous.
Took a jewelry class here and it was pretty expensive for what I got out of it. A lot of the class time was demos, and the teacher used her own tools and complained about what Artascope had available, and then there weren't proper tools available during open studio time to do what the teacher had taught with her own tools. Open studio time is also very limited, especially if you have a 9-5 job, and either closed early or just didn't open when it was scheduled to. So, I would only recommend this if you are retired and have lots of daytime available, or if you have your own tools to use.
