Commitment, promises, and tenured coaches... Not here. When you talk to upper management, you hear about commitment to the players. That concept doesn't make it to the coaches and is reflected in the lack of team development.

Aresenal is out to get your money. They are not a competitive organization through and through. This last season “2025/2026” they did not cut a single girl in my daughers’ age group and there were definitely players who were not at the competitive level. Rather than turn kids away they accepted everyone and took the money. Why even have tryouts? It made for a rough season, poor morale, poor coaching, entering in tournaments that were well beyond this team’s ability. So much money spent. Then in December we all learned that spring season was optional, even though we committed and paid a hefty amount towards Fall not knowing we were only paying for Fall. They were unable to have enough players sign up for this “secondary” season, which is absolutely no surprise to me considering how Fall went, and were not able to form a team. This secondary season only applies to 8th graders as the birth year is split between two grades. None of this was communicated until after they had our money. Arsenal ruined soccer for my daughter. She has no desire to play ever again.

I’ve had nothing but positive experience working with Brenda and team. Brenda is a godsend and does a great job. I appreciate them doing the hard work to ensure there is good soccer in the town.

Worst organization for your child's development and self esteem. I made a huge mistake thinking that Arsenal was going to be helpful for my son's soccer career. They act like this is the Major League. There are too many politics. And the politics for all of northern Colorado soccer is filthy. The coaches expect the kids all to be at the same level and when they are not, they bench them and then chastise them. My child decided not to continue playing the game and he told me that Arsenal made him hate soccer. Peter Nash is too obsessed with being the best and hires coaches who don't care about the well being of the child but rather who is the most brutal. The coaches allow the children to talk nasty to one another and they don't care. It breeds hatred and not a team building environment. Again, don't make my mistake and I feel responsible for choosing this club.

We have been with Arsenal for 4 seasons now and haven’t had any issues. This year we enrolled my daughter to play once again and requested the same coach to continue to work on her skills and have fun with her team. The coaches name was listed on the form and on the form it states that they give priority to retuning athletes when placing them with coaches. That is not the case here. When I called I was told that there was an influx in the amount of registrations and that somehow our request was missed. How disappointing. This was not the solution I was expecting. Do better.
