Apex Court Academy coaches tennis and pickleball on public courts in Burlingame, San Mateo and Hillsborough and runs a junior tennis summer camp in partnership with Hillsborough Recreation. Camp days mix drills, technical and tactical coaching, match play, athletic development and conditioning, with groups tailored to each player's age and skill level. The academy is led by coaches Eric and Lucas, who together have more than 40 years of playing and coaching experience, and also runs an orange-ball program for beginners ages 6-9. Camp ages and daily hours are not published.

★★★★★Bruno Parenteok so i was not expecting to actually get hooked on tennis but here we are. lessons are well structured but never feel rigid, and Lucas is super flexible and works around your schedule as much as possible. you can tell he actually enjoys what he does and isn’t just going through the motions. courts are clean, atmosphere is chill. would recommend especially if you’re trying to get into tennis without it feeling like a whole thing.

What we noticed at other academy is that they will tell you by words on how to fix your form across the net but my son was still hitting it wrongly because it was hard to change his form with just verbal guidance. Coach Lucas is hands on on fixing how to properly hit so my son learns the basic techniques correctly first which we love! He also is very friendly and makes the class fun which makes my son & his friends engaged. We highly recommend him :)
