American Dance Institute's Magnolia studio is one of four ADI locations in greater Seattle running weekly summer dance camps from late June through August. Camps are grouped by age - Creative Dance (4-6), Pre-Level ballet and modern (5-7), Children's jazz/contemporary/ballet/modern (8-10), Junior/Teen (11-14), and a full-day Junior/Teen Intensive (11-16) for dancers with 4+ years of ballet - and each week ends with an end-of-camp performance. Half-day camps run 9:30am-12:00pm or 12:30pm-3:00pm and can be bundled into a full day (9:30am-3:00pm) with a supervised lunch break; a K-5 Dance & Theater camp runs 9:00am-3:00pm. No dress code is required and dancers bring their own snack or lunch.

Powered by GoogleMy two children started with ADI Magnolia in September and they have both my 5 1/2 year old son and 4 year old daughter have been loving it. The class is a great mix of free form dance and some structure to help build a base for ballet. Would highly recommend the school.
We have been going to ADI for over 8 years now and absolutely love this school. Elizabeth, the owner, is so kind and such a great teacher. She has hired incredible teachers. My daughters have loved all of the classes we've taken there! There new Magnolia space is great! Such a great place for your kid to learn dance!
I LOVE ADI! I am an adult ballet student who has danced on and off since childhood (I currently take two classes a week—one on zoom and one in person). I have been with ADI since before the pandemic and they gracefully navigated the switch to zoom with dedicated, creative, fun, and energetic teachers finding ways to make the experience work for everyone! The teachers have a great in-studio setup so they can see students on a large screen to give tips and assistance and they make sure they are very visible to all when showing combinations. For my in-person class (when King Co is in the appropriate reopening phase) ADI is excellent at making sure everyone is masked, physically distant, and sanitized. The studios are clean, bright, and spacious. I absolutely love ADI. The teachers are second to none. They are creative, helpful, funny, and they make the classes challenging but accessible. I have mostly had classes with Amy, Becca, and Margaret. But when I drop into classes with other teachers they are also just as wonderful. The teachers help me understand movement, music, choreography, and my own body. They are top notch! ADI makes my love of dance grow more and more with each class!
My daughter has been going to ADI for a few years now, first in Greenwood and now at Magnolia, and she really enjoys every class! She started in Hip Hop classes first, but now also does contemporary dance. The staff is always warm and welcoming and the instructors (Cameo, Margaret and Alyssa) have really been wonderful and patient with her! For a kid that has been through many different activities outside of school, the ADI classes have been the one thing she never wants to quit. Always comes out with a smile and bouncing with energy. Can’t recommend this school enough! Thanks, ADI!
Our daughter really enjoys her junior/teen intermediate ballet and jazz classes at ADI and she loves her teacher, Margaret. We really like that Elizabeth, the dance school director, is very flexible and accommodating when scheduling classes. I also really appreciate that ADI allows make up classes if our daughter has to miss one of her regularly scheduled classes for whatever reason. ADI has been a wonderful addition to Magnolia.
